Join us for a webinar session on The Case for Case Management. This presentation will provide attendees with an in-depth view of the critical elements of utilizing medical case management services, among other critical information.

We will hear from Angie Jung of ISYS.  Angie has over 30 years of case management experience in the workers’ compensation industry. She is a board-certified case manager, as well as a certified rehabilitation nurse. Angie co-founded ISYS Solutions, Inc., which provides medical case management and return-to-work services throughout California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas.of the Sacramento/Redding office.  

During this session Angie will discuss how advocacy-based claims services has been one of the major focuses in today’s claims management platform. An element to consider as part of this culture is through the utilization of medical case management services. Case management service has long been a fundamental component of the healthcare industry, and in workers’ compensation, but over time, the utilization of medical case management has been misguided.  This session aims to discuss the principle and the essential role of case management in workers’ compensation.

It will provide the basic framework for professionals new to claims management or workers’ compensation, but also for those in this industry to maximize their effectiveness in utilizing case management services.  In this session, Angie will discuss the intricate and collaborative partnership in leveraging case management to facilitate effective claims resolution.

This presentation will provide attendees with an in-depth view of the critical elements of utilizing medical case management services. It will provide the participants with a behind-the-scenes perspective on the impact of medical case management on return to work, injured workers’ quality of life, and cost containment. This session will take the participants through some complex cases and the application of these concepts. It is intended to provoke critical conversation on the experience and outcomes that claims professionals should expect from case management services.
